The Original Room at The Comedy Store tickets & upcoming events

Step into The Original Room at The Comedy Store and you’re stepping into comedy history. It’s where legends like Richard Pryor and Robin Williams once took the stage, and you can still feel that vibe every time you walk in. The room isn’t massive, but that just makes it more intimate, like you’re part of a secret comedy club. If you’re lucky, you might catch an up-and-coming comic testing new material or a seasoned pro delivering a killer set. One night I saw a guy bomb hard, but that’s part of the charm, it’s real, raw, and unpredictable. The energy shifts with each lineup, and honestly, that’s part of what keeps it exciting. The club also hosts amateur nights where fresh faces try out their jokes, and it’s pretty inspiring to see someone’s first time on stage. To find it, just look for the crowds outside on Sunset Boulevard, because everyone knows the place. Whether you’re a comedy geek or just looking for a fun night out, The Original Room delivers the goods, and I’d say it’s a must-visit if you’re in West Hollywood. Trust me, you won’t forget the experience, it’s where comedy lives and breathes.
